AG LAN "The LAN Before Time" took place on December 18th, 2005. During this time the SV Frag crew and I were gearing up for SV Frag 2, which would take place in San Jose in January 2006.
I pitched Ginger the idea of doing some kind of cross promotion of both LANs and came up with "The Battle of the Bay'. The general idea would be to have a set of tournaments that would span across both LANs with the "North Bay Gaming Championships" held at AG LAN while the "South Bay Gaming Championships" were held at SV Frag. The winners would be crowed "Battle of the Bay Champions" ... or, as I put it while I was pitching it, "The ultimate master of all time" or something along those lines.
We also worked out a package deal for those that wanted to buy tickets for both LANs at once.

This was a busy time, so my memories of this was very hazy, but according to the AG LAN recap, this was their most successful LAN to date.
