Our first and last Digital Destruction LAN of 2002! We never got around to hosting one all year since Octane and all the other local LANs had been going on. Since there were no December LANs in the area, and since we were all off school and work for the holidays, we decided that it was time to have another Digital Destruction.

This time the game was Dungeon Siege. Everyone has been hopelessly hooked on it since break started, so we spent the day building our characters and retrieving scads of cool loot. We took a DS break for a little while and played some Return to Castle Wolfenstien, but DS kept calling to us. So we gave up completely on the first person shooters and went right back to DS.

I have no idea why I wrote that this was the first and last Digital Destruction LAN of 2002 when, according to my records, we had at least 3 other house LANs during 2002. So, I guess I had been going to so many LANs that I had completely lost track of time.

Either way, this would mark the last Digital Destruction house LAN that would take place. At the time we were completely hooked on the game Dungeon Siege, which was a great game. I believe this was the LAN where we spent hours upon hours navigating a secret dungeon we found. Once we got through all of the really frustrating puzzles, we were sure there would be some epic loot. Hours later, we get through it and find some treasure chests, which contained a helmet that looked like a paper sack and some really waky and unusable stats. It was definately a joke played on us by the games developers, but it was still a fun time. We also were able to team up and slay a giant dragon.

Other details I remember about tis day was it was pouring down rain.
