This weekend was a marathon on LANs because it was also the same weekend as Octane LAN 8! After attending Octane LAN, I headed over to Fremont to attend this LAN. Dima attended as well. I honestly don't remember too much from this LAN other than we were seated in the lobby overflow area because we got there late (due to attending Octane).

For some asdditional context, the following was posted on the TMC website on February 3rd, 2003:

We are long overdue for an update, but never fear! This time I have plenty of update goodness to bring to you.

I just discovered that there will be TWO... count them... TWO LAN partys back to back the month of Feb. The Octane LAN will be Feb 21 - 22 and the Hurriquake III LAN will be Feb 22nd and 23rd. The Way I figure it, if you are REALLY hardcore, you should go to both. Thats right, and I have even formulated a plan of action on how YOU can do it. Heres how:

9 pm Friday 21st - Show up at Octane
4 -5 am Saturday the 22nd - Sleep at octane (if needed)
1 pm Saturday 22nd - Show up at Hurriquake III and party as long as you can.

Such a simple plan, yet so brilliant (because yours truly thought of it). The great thing is both LANs provide food, so for 20 bucks (15 for octane + 5 for Hurriquake) You get a whole weekend of LAN goodness as well as free food. What could be better?
