By this time I was beginning to get more involved with Octane and I wanted to help out however I could. I helped contact companies for sponsorships and got some free product and swag for giveaway. I also brought in some DJ friends I had met so they could do some live DJ mixes while the LAN went on. My friends were part of a DJ group called the Nocturnal Groove Fellowship. They went by the names DJ RockRock and DJ Django. I remember Django's mixes being my favorite and his set at this LAN was really good.

TMC had a friendly rivalry going on with another group that called themselved typ0. There were three guys that were regulars at Octane LAN and who also hosted house LANs that TMC members and Octane staff would attend. At this Octane I had used photoshop to make a small one page poster advertizing TMC. I did it in a military propagand poster style, as it matched well with the military stule shooter games we were all playing. At one point I sneakily put up a few of my posters around the LAN, and the typ0 guys saw this and quickly whipped up their own propaganda and posted it along side ours.
