The trial TMC-LAN 0 was a success and now that we had a chance to familiarize ourselves with the space and iron out some bugs we were ready to open to the public. The first public TMC LAN was held on October 2nd 2004 and had around 35 in attendance. For this LAN we had some sponsors and raffle prizes. Someone, I think it was Demnise or maybe Mel (the owner of the location) had some contacts within Puma that gave us some T shirts and some nice watches to gibe away as raffle prizes. We also had some Bawls energy drink swag as well as some Nvidia swag.

A bunch of kids from the Reeboot LAN center attended. They were younger kids from the hayward area and mostly played CS. At this point CS was generally looked down upon as something for kids, which meant the CS players mostly did their own thing that was seperate from what the rest of the LAN was doing.

This was a great start to TMC-LAN and we would have several more awesome events.
