At this point the TMC-LAN events were moving like clockwork and happening regularly every month. We were growing the attendance at every event as well. Because of the "splash damage" incident from TMC-LAN 4, we were increasingly on thin ice with Mel, the venue owner. In fact, at this point he had me (and I believe Kraz) sign a liability document. Given that I was comuting to and from the LAN from Sonoma county at the time, I had neither the time nor ability to oversee the operation of the events in the way I would have liked. Added to this the general makeup and maturity level of the majority of TMC members at that time it was difficult to present any sort of unified front of seriousness or responsiblity. I was not willing to take on financial and legal liability on behalf of people who couldn't be trusted to take any responsibility for their own actions. I knew our days of TMC LAN were likely limited.

Despite the looming cloud on the horizon, the party went on and fun was had by all.

We had the following tournaments planned for the event:

- 9 PM CSS
- 11 PM DC
- 1 AM HL2DM
- F-zero (somtime)

Unfortunately I have no record of the results of these tournaments.
